Le Passage

2.5 hours from Paris by car or train, the "Le Passage" gîtes welcome you.
3 comfortable gites, whose walls and mazes are steeped in history and stories, in the heart of La Charité-sur-Loire.
The Tower, from its beautiful 25 m² cellar to its roof terrace, rises via a magnificent stone spiral staircase. It makes the link between each gîte.
An inner courtyard is at the center of the gîtes. In this space shared by all, you can sit down to chat, share an aperitif, and why not, a barbecue!

- La Lucarne , duplex (on the 2nd and 3rd floor), offers beautiful spaces. Exposed stone walls, French ceiling and attic bedroom, transport you to these old houses full of charm. A bedroom with a 160 double bed and a bedroom with 3 single beds (one of which is only 170 long!). Each bedroom has its own shower room with wc
- Ann's Secret , a triplex directly overlooking the abbey.A kitchen, a living room and two bedrooms each with its own shower room with wc. From the 2nd and 3rd floors, two beautiful footbridges cross the central courtyard, once one of the streets of the city, to reach the tower.
- Once upon a time , completely renovated in the spring of 2022, is on the 1st floor. A large bedroom, with two French windows opening onto a balcony overlooking the main street, offers 4 beds, 2 of which are bunk beds. The second bedroom, with a 160 double bed, overlooks the private terrace which offers a magnificent view of the abbey.
A convertible sofa offers a bed of either 80 or 160.
A single bathroom, separate wc.


Travel agent for 20 years, I had the chance to travel a lot and meet so many different people! Meeting, exchanging, sharing with others are the engine of my life.

After visiting so many foreign countries, I decided to introduce visitors to my country and this charming region, in the center of France, around La Charité-sur-Loire.
"Le Passage", located in the heart of the city, was tastefully furnished by Byron and Kelly, a Canadian couple. I took over in November 2021, and I will not fail to welcome visitors with as much heart as they have for many years.
From next summer, a 4th accommodation, accessible to people with reduced mobility, will be open.
